**General Operation**: Read the manual to familiarize yourself with the appliance, installation, operation, and maintenance.
**Installation**: Ensure proper installation by a specialist. Pay attention to chimney requirements and hot air outlet possibilities.
**Lighting and Combustion**: Use an abundant load for lighting. Adjust combustion by opening/closing the cinder tray door. Leave the fireplace door slightly open during the initial minutes to prevent condensation.
**Fan Control**: The switch controls fan speed (0 for off, I for comfort at 750 rpm, II for strong at 1500 rpm). Connect to the electrical network to avoid overheating.
**Cleaning**: Clean the cast iron front and door glass when cold. Clean the deflector plate annually. Check seals periodically.
**Safety**: Maintain a minimum safety distance from combustible materials, avoid liquid fuels, and inspect the chimney regularly.
