- Before first use: Remove all packaging materials. A slight odor may occur upon first use; operate the device for approx. 10 min. without straightening hair, ensuring adequate ventilation.
- Operation: Unwind the power cord. Plug into a suitable 230V~, 50Hz socket. Press the on/off button (3) to turn on. The device starts at 180°C. Select temperature between 120°C and 220°C using "-" and "+" buttons (adjustments in 10°C increments). The display shows the current temperature and "READY" when the set temperature is reached. Use only on dry hair. Take a section, pull down gently, and straighten. Start at the root and move towards the tips. Ensure subsequent sections align for a uniform result.
- Ionizing function: Tourmaline coating reduces static for easier styling, keeping hair soft and shiny.
- Switching off: Press the on/off button (3). Unplug the device. Allow to cool before storing. The locking mechanism (5) can be used to fold and lock the device for compact storage.
- Safety shut-off: The device automatically switches off approx. 60 minutes after the last button press.
- Cleaning and Care: Always unplug before cleaning. Never immerse in water. Do not use abrasive brushes or harsh detergents. Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth. Clean heating plates with a slightly damp cloth, using a mild detergent if necessary. Dry the heating plates thoroughly after each cleaning.
